1. Who we are

This website is operated by Olven Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17311848), whose registered office is at Flat W9, 2 Cadence Court, 4 Lewis Cubitt Walk, London, N1C 4ER, England (“Olven”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of your personal data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). 2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we collect: your email address and first name (if you give it) when you join our reservation or email list, including which pack size you’re interested in; order and delivery details when you buy; payment confirmation (we never see or store full card numbers); messages you send us; and technical information such as your device, browser and how you use the site.

3. How we use it, and why

• Pre-launch reservations and email updates — to email you about Olven’s launch, products and brand news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Orders and delivery — to process, deliver and support your order. Legal basis: to perform our contract with you.
• Enquiries — to reply to messages you send us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• Records — to keep the financial records UK law requires. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Running and improving the site — to keep it secure and understand how it’s used. Legal basis: our legitimate interests, and your consent where cookies are involved.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Pre-launch reservations

When you reserve a place, we store your email address, your first name if you provide it, the pack size you said you’re most likely to order and where on the site you signed up. We use this to email you first when orders open and to understand demand before launch. Reserving is free: no payment is taken and no order is created.

5. Shopify, payments & transfers

Our store runs on Shopify, which stores and processes customer data on our behalf. When orders are open, payments are handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal, who process your card or account details directly — we never receive full card numbers. Shopify and our payment providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work — for example, to keep it secure and remember your choices. With your consent, given through our cookie banner, we also use Shopify’s analytics and marketing cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page, or through your browser settings.

7. How long we keep it

• Reservation and email list — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We remove pre-launch reservations that never become customers no later than 24 months after you join.
• Orders — for six years after the end of the financial year in which you ordered, as required for UK tax records.
• Enquiries — for up to two years after we last hear from you.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email illiakhaddadian@gmail.com — we’ll respond within one month. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email.

If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Children

Olven contains caffeine and is not intended for children. Our site and email list are intended for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
